Compression Femoral Artery Tourniquet

A femoral artery compression tourniquet is a medical device used to control bleeding from the femoral artery during surgery or other medical procedures. This tourniquet usually consists of an inflatable airbag that can be placed on the patient's thigh in close proximity to the femoral artery. By inflating the airbag, the airbag can exert pressure on the femoral artery to stop bleeding.
